Purpose

This ministry serves as an advocate for the elderly and poor parishioners of St. Francis de Sales. In addition we provide services to other elderly and poor non-parishioners. The purpose of this ministry is to help improve the quality of pastoral care and outreach given to these individuals.

Dear Parishioners,

           I truly want to thank you for all your support t the Ministry for the Elders and Poor at St. Francis de Sales Parish.  This ministry has been blessed through the many wonderful people in this parish, with their spirit of giving and Christian love.  This has been a truly rewarding and spiritually uplifting experience for me.

           I invite anyone who would like to help out in this ministry to call me at 202 529-8750.  In addition, I would like to remind you to continue to make your food donations to the food pantry at Prudohomme House.  Prudohomme House is open for distribution of food to those less fortunate than ourselves on the second, third and fourth Wednesdays and Thursdays of each month.  Your generosity in providing food allows us to continue the work of Christ in providing for the poor and those in need.

I am deeply grateful for all your support and donations.  Our parish is a model of generosity and Christian caring.  Thank you for all your help.
